Now, MTGA players will get the opportunity to experience immense strength when the Arena Powered Cube debuts on Oct. 28. MTG Arena previously offered a comparable option with its Timeless play style, but it excluded cards such as the iconic Power Nine — MTG's legendary high-power cards, such as Black Lotus, the five Moxen, Time Walk, Timetwister, and Ancestral Recall.

Features of the New Cube Event

The Arena Powered Cube will incorporate a hundred fresh Arena card versions, but some of these will be obtainable at the launch of the event. This allows for the inclusion of a larger card pool, as some of these massively overpowered cards could create imbalance issues in Constructed gameplay. • Best-of-Three: 3 matches; unranked

The reward packs issued as rewards can contain almost every card permitted in the Timeless format, plus cards from a unique bonus card list.
